They create a benefit for a defined group, allow costs to spiral, then dare the opposition to take something away from a newly entrenched constituency. When the moment arrives, those who claim to favor limited government retreat or propose cosmetic reforms that leave the core system untouched.

In fact, its doubtful that Covid 19 could have had the opportunity to close down the economy without the full cooperation of the CDC, WHO, and medical services across the country without Obama care entitlements. The Obama care super structure enabled clear communications objectives across the board. The objective to close down the Trump economic engine was accomplished almost over night. The ACA is neither affordable or caring… What it does do on multiple fronts is to empower big government and their associated huge buracatic operations across the board.
